Cool Night by Paul Davis

"Cool Night" is a song by Paul Davis that was a top-ten single in January 1982. It was one of two top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 from the album Cool Night. The other was "'65 Love Affair", which went to number six in April of that same year. 3

One of the greatest voices to come out of pop music from any genre. His smoothness comes across as effortlessly as water poured from a glass. A must for anyone who loves music of love, family, faith and growing up! 1

Cool Night is the new name for Kingston's long standing tradition of marking the New Year with a celebration of the arts. Cool Night is a partnership between the City of Kingston, Downtown Kingston! It is a public celebration that revives the ancient tradition of marking the passage of time with art, ritual and festivity. 13

It's just unbelievable that Paul Davis is not far better known. Cool Night is one of the best pop albums from the early eights. Paul's music is rich and his talent shines through in every song. For eights pop fans that know of him, this is a must have, and for those who don't, get this album any way you can, you have no idea what your missing. 1

Could only rate this CD 3 stars. Only half of Paul Davis songs are on the disc. Leaving Cool Nights off the disc was dumb. 2
